The Seattle Seahawks ruled out rookie tight end Elijah Arroyo (knee) for Sunday’s Week 15 home game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Seahawks also listed center Jalen Sundell (knee), veteran run-blocking tight end Eric Saubert (calf) and rookie defensive end Rylie Mills (knee) as questionable on Friday’s game status report.

Sundell and Saubert are both on injured reserve and Mills is on the non-football injury list, so they would need to be activated to Seattle’s 53-man roster to play on Sunday. The Seahawks currently have two open spots on their active roster.

No other Seahawks carried game status designations on Friday’s report, which indicates every other player on the 53-man roster is considered healthy enough to play against the Colts.

Arroyo suffered a knee injury in last Sunday’s win over the Atlanta Falcons and didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday.

Sundell and Saubert both returned to practice this week after spending time on IR. Sundell, who started the first nine games of the season at center, missed the past four games. Saubert missed the past six games.

Earlier this week, Macdonald said “we’ll see” when asked whether Sundell will play center or guard going forward. There’s been speculation that Seattle could consider keeping backup Olu Oluwatimi at center and sliding Sundell over to right guard, where Anthony Bradford has struggled at times this season before playing better of late.

Mills, a fifth-round draft pick out of Notre Dame, returned to practice on Nov. 26. He’s been sidelined all season while working back from a torn ACL that he suffered in a College Football Playoff game last December. The Seahawks have until Dec. 17 to activate Mills to the 53-man roster in order for him to be eligible to play this season.
