CB Marlon Humphrey vs. WR Ja’Marr Chase
In the Thanksgiving matchup against the Bengals, Joe Burrow targeted Humphrey 10 times. The All-Pro cornerback gave up six catches for 91 yards on those 10 targets, per Next Gen Stats. Chase finished that game with seven receptions on 14 targets for a game-high 110 yards. With Tee Higgins (concussion) out, Chase will likely see another lion’s share of targets, creating an even bigger emphasis for Humphrey and Nate Wiggins to contain Chase.
