The Miami Dolphins released their Friday injury report ahead of their Monday Night Football tilt with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Dolphins saw starting C Aaron Brewer go backward with an ankle injury. Brewer was a full participant Thursday but limited today with an ankle injury, while starting CB Jack Jones also popped up on the report with a knee injury. He was a limited participant Friday after not being listed on the injury report yesterday.

While he’s expected to play, Miami star RB De’Von Achane remained limited for the second day in a row with a rib injury he suffered in Week 14 against the New York Jets.

ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques posted Miami’s injury report on Twitter.

The Dolphins will practice again tomorrow, and Achane’s status will certainly be worth watching. As long as he doesn’t go backward, he should be fine to suit up on Monday. Brewer going from full to limited is an interesting development, but it may be a case of the team getting him a little extra rest. He’s been the Dolphins’ best offensive lineman this season and losing him would be a big blow for Miami’s front.

Miami’s secondary is one of the worst in the league, and losing Jones would hurt on the back end. If he was injured during practice today, his status could be worth watching on Saturday. If he is unable to practice, he might not suit up against the Steelers on Monday. CB Rasul Douglas, DB Elijah Campbell and S Ifeatu Melifonwu were also limited, so the Dolphins are a bit banged up on the back end of their defense.
