BENGALS WR OUT
The Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday, putting them in first place in the AFC North. However, they haven’t secured the division title yet. The Ravens could still make a comeback. They play the Cincinnati Bengals this week, and a loss would deliver a huge blow to their chances of winning the AFC North. Unfortunately, the Bengals are going to be without one of their stars.
ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported on Twitter that Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is out this week with a concussion. Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase form one of the best receiver duos on the league. While this hasn’t been his best season, he’s still a key piece of their team. Higgins missing Sunday’s game in Cincinnati gives the Ravens a better chance at winning.

J.J. WATT ON CALLING STEELERS GAMES
J.J. Watt was one of the NFL’s best defensive players during his era. He had a dominant stretch where he was named Defensive Player of the Year in three out of four seasons. He retired after the 2022 season and is now a color analyst for CBS NFL broadcasts.
Watt has worked plenty of Steelers games this season. However, he doesn’t let personal ties — younger brother T.J. is obviously one of the faces of the Steelers — affect how he does his job. In a video on Sports Illustrated’s YouTube channel, Watt spoke about how hard he tries to not be biased. It’s an example of why Watt has been good in his new role.
TOM BRADY CONFIDENT HE COULD STILL PLAY
The Steelers’ Aaron Rodgers, who just turned 42, is the oldest quarterback in the league. However, Philip Rivers unretired at the age of 44 and signed with the Indianapolis Colts’ practice squad earlier this week. If he gets elevated to their active roster, something that could happen as soon as Saturday, he’ll be the oldest quarterback in the league. Tom Brady thinks he could overtake both of them, though.
Around the NFL shared that Brady recently said that he feels like he could still play today. However, he’s a Las Vegas Raiders minority owner, so he can’t unretire. That’s good news. While Brady is 48 years old, there’s no need to test to see if he’s still got his superpowers.
