Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife Hailee Steinfeld broke major news on Friday, December 12, when they took to social media to announce that they’re expecting their first baby together. First, Hailee dropped the news in her newsletter, the “Beau Society,” and then, the two took to social media to make it Insta-official.
So, what is the baby’s due date? So far, the couple hasn’t revealed how many months Hailee has been pregnant or the due date of the baby. But, they’ve shared a special video message with Josh kissing Hailee’s stomach, sharing the news that they have a little one of the way.
Now, the world is reacting to the news that Allen and his wife are expecting, including those in the NFL and entertainment world. Allen, being the quarterback of the Buffalo Bills, has friends in the NFL, and they’re congratulating him. Hailee is a successful actress, so people in the entertainment industry are sending their congrats, as well.

Christen Harper Goff, the wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, was one of the first people to take to Instagram to congratulate the couple.
“So, so, so happy for you guys,” she wrote on the couple’s Instagram post with a white heart emoji. “Congrats,” the NFL posted on the same post with three exclamation marks and red, white and blue hearts. Goff, the quarterback, also hearted the photo on Instagram as a sign of support.
Gigi Hadid also commented with her support, writing, “Omg” with a big yay with multiple characters, and “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown, who is also a new mom, wrote a small note of congratulations.
As the days go by, more will congratulate Josh and Hailee on their big news. It’s certainly life-changing, and it comes right as the Buffalo Bills are having a banner final part of the 2025-26 regular season.

So, how exactly did these two break the news? In Hailee’s newsletter, the “Beau Society” newsletter, Hailee shared her favorite moments from the year in a wrap-up post. In it, she looked back on how she’s changed in 2025.
“I’ve surprised myself in a thousand different ways. Sometimes (many times), laughter saved the day,” she noted, “Other times, I found peace in simplicity: cooking breakfast with Josh, sinking into the perfect nighttime and morning routines, and talking to friends who see me clearly. This year, my work challenged me and rewarded me. Stepping into new projects felt like stepping into new versions of myself.”
She also shared her top 29 moments of the year, since she just turned 29 years old. The final moment, the 29th, was the video showing that she’s pregnant.
So, Allen will have an extra reason to be excited going into the Buffalo Bills’ game on Sunday, December 14, against the New England Patriots. The team already has a 97% chance of making the playoffs ahead of the game, according to NFL research, so a win would be icing on the already sweet cake at this point.
