Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife Hailee Steinfeld have announced some major news that will change their lives.

On Friday, December 12, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife Hailee Steinfeld made a special announcement. The couple is expecting their first child together. So far, they haven’t revealed how far along she is, but the two shared the special moment in a video clip in Hailee’s regular newsletter and on social media.

In the December 12 edition of Steinfeld’s newsletter, she shared an array of highlights from her year. As expected, plenty of them had to do with Allen, such as finding their wedding venue and seeing her first college football game.

Then, at the end of the note, she pointed readers to a special video. In the clip, the two are seen outside in a snowy environment, because, yes, it snows in Buffalo. Allen is seen kissing Hailee’s stomach, and the video indicates that she’s pregnant.

Bills QB Josh Allen’s Wife Hailee Shares Special Moments From the Year

In the newsletter, titled her “Beau Society” newsletter, Hailee shares her favorite moments from the year. In it, she notes that Thursday, December 11, was her 29th birthday, and “it made me all sentimental and mushy inside.”

“Some of my best friends flew out to Buffalo for the first time,” she said, adding that they stayed up chatting until 3 a.m. playing games and “went four-wheeling through the snow (got stuck, had to call my brother to tow us out of the mud – thank God for him), and lost our voices, screaming at the top of our lungs as you know who did you know what.”

She also reflected on how she’s changed. “I’ve surprised myself in a thousand different ways. Sometimes (many times), laughter saved the day,” she notes in the newsletter. “Other times, I found peace in simplicity: cooking breakfast with Josh, sinking into the perfect nighttime and morning routines, and talking to friends who see me clearly. This year, my work challenged me and rewarded me. Stepping into new projects felt like stepping into new versions of myself.”

She added, “I found creativity in unexpected places, like childhood memories and late-night conversations. I found clarity in asking myself what I really want.”

The Big Reveal for Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld

In the newsletter, she also shared her top 29 moments of the year, in honor of her 29th birthday. The 29th was the video showing that she’s pregnant. She announced the news in her newsletter first, and then, Hailee took to her social media accounts to share the good news, so Hailee made sure her newsletter audience was the first to get the scoop.

So, as Allen heads into the Buffalo Bills’ game on Sunday, December 14, against the New England Patriots, he’ll have an extra smile on his face. He’s going to be a first-time father soon.

The Buffalo Bills have a 97% chance of making the playoffs ahead of the game, according to NFL research. If they beat the Patriots, they’ll have a better than 99% chance of winning. If they lose, that falls to 94%, but it’s still very good, so Allen really has plenty of reasons to smile.
