The Carolina Panthers might see a return from one of their receivers before the regular season comes to an end.
Head coach Dave Canales, following Friday’s practice for the Week 15 matchup against the New Orleans Saints, told reporters that the team plans on opening wideout David Moore’s 21-day practice window next week. The eighth-year veteran has missed the last nine games due to an elbow injury.
Moore sustained the setback in the early portions of Carolina’s Week 4 loss to the New England Patriots. He has since undergone surgery and was moved to injured reserve on Oct. 1.
Prior to being sidelined, Moore made a pair of starts over the campaign’s first four weeks—registering one catch for five yards and a rushing attempt for 12.
In his first season for the Panthers in 2024, Moore totaled 32 receptions for 351 yards and three touchdowns.
