Pitts ranks second among NFL tight ends with 797 receiving yards this season.
Kyle Pitts’s free agent market is going to be fascinating this offseason. Falcons have to give serious thought to franchising him for $15.8 million if he continues to play this way.

The Atlanta Falcons have a handful of key players whose contracts are set to expire at the end of the 2025 NFL season, including tight end Kyle Pitts and running back Tyler Allgeier. Pitts has quietly had a nice bounce-back year for Atlanta.
On Thursday night, the former top-five pick played arguably the best game of his five-year NFL career. Pitts led the team with 11 catches for 166 receiving yards and three touchdowns in a 29-28 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Pitts currently ranks second among NFL tight ends with 797 receiving yards this season, and is 21st among all pass-catchers. That’s more than Brock Bowers, Travis Kelce and just about every other big name tight end in the league.
Over the last three weeks, Pitts recorded 24 catches for 338 receiving yards while stepping in as the team’s No. 1 pass-catching option in place of Drake London. In fact, Pitts is now just 13 yards shy of London for the season.
The 25-year-old is in a position to land a major contract during the offseason. His latest performance led many around the NFL to speculate about Pitts’ free agent market in 2026.
K Pitts should have this type of impact every gm. That’s why I’m so hard on him because I see the talent. A man his size shouldn’t be this fluid. Some times he drifts or seemingly goes thru the motions. #ThursdayNightFootball #FalconsBucs #NfcSouth

Really interested to see what the Kyle Pitts market looks like this offseason. He’s moving in a way he hasn’t moved in years. Look at him get upfield off the line! Mmh! pic.twitter.com/2tpSFAvxfb

Kyle Pitts’ last three games:
24 catches
338 receiving yards
3 TD (all last night)
He’s the only TE to record 80+ receiving yards in 3 straight games this season.

Somewhere, someone is watching the Atlanta Falcons for the first time in years. That person thinks Kyle Pitts is the most prolific scorer on earth.
