The Cleveland Browns roster has undergone a ton of changes over the last week, with even more coming on Saturday before Week 15’s matchup with the Chicago Bears. On Tuesday, the Browns made six moves, including placing OL Ethan Pocic and RB Jerome Ford on injured reserve. On Wednesday, six more moves happened, including bringing back DT Maurice Hurst II.

Thursday dropped down to just one roster move for Cleveland, but Friday’s injury report had seven players listed as out and another five listed as questionable versus the Bears.

Saturday continued the roster shuffling with WR Jamari Thrash waived and OL Zak Zinter ruled out for the game.

Thrash was a fifth round pick in the 2024 NFL draft. He was seen by many as a steal at that point in the draft and ESPN labeled him as a player to watch in training camp this year. Thrash has played in just 18 games with just 13 receptions for 129 yards in his two seasons with the Browns.

Zinter has played in 19 games after being Cleveland’s third round pick last year. The Michigan alum has been mostly inactive this season. Due to injuries, Zinter was in line to start this week before being ruled out. With just three starts and 239 snaps on offense, the future is uncertain for the Browns Day 2 pick from 2024.

In a corresponding move to Thrash’s departure, Cleveland signed OL Garrett Dellinger to the active roster. The Browns also elevated S Christopher Edmonds and Hurst for this week.

How surprised are you by Thrash’s career with the Browns? Does Zinter’s injury create even more questions about his future with the team?
