The Washington Commanders (3-10) and New York Giants (2-11) meet Sunday in Week 15 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Commanders vs. Giants odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.
The Commanders’ losing streak reached 8 games in Week 14 with a 31-0 loss to the Vikings in Minnesota. Washington failed to cover as a 1-point road underdog and the Under (44) cashed. The offense produced just 206 total yards and turned it over 3 times. Matters worsened when QB Jayden Daniels exited midway through the third quarter after landing awkwardly on his previously injured left elbow during an interception return.
New York extended its skid to 7 games Sunday, falling 33-15 to the New England Patriots. The Giants failed to cover as 7.5-point road underdogs, while the Over (46.5) cashed. Rookie QB Jaxson Dart returned after missing 2 games with a concussion and showed flashes despite the loss, throwing a touchdown pass to WR Darius Slayton. The offense struggled to sustain drives, leaving New York playing from behind throughout the afternoon.

If you’d prefer to play it a bit safer and bet the Giants (-135) on the moneyline, I won’t blame you, but I’ll take the better odds on the spread.
BET GIANTS -2.5 (-115).
I’m backing the Giants to cover here, mostly because I trust them more than Commanders right now — and that’s not saying much. Washington looks completely broken. Eight straight losses, zero offensive rhythm and a road profile that’s been brutal all season. They’ve consistently failed to show up away from home, especially against teams with similar records.
New York hasn’t won either, but at least the Giants are competing. They’re scoring more, playing with urgency and giving Dart real reps instead of shutting things down. He has flashed enough to move the ball, and Washington’s defense hasn’t shown the ability to disrupt anyone lately. That alone gives New York an edge.
I also feel better about the Giants’ defense in this spot. Washington just got blanked and managed barely 200 yards last week, and now it’s dealing with more uncertainty at quarterback. This feels like a low-quality game, but one where New York is more likely to stay within the number — or even win outright.
At home, with the more stable quarterback situation and slightly more fight, I’ll lay the points with the Giants.
BET OVER 46.5 (-110).
I just don’t trust either defense right now. The Commanders can run the ball on a Giants front that’s been getting gashed weekly, and even with the offense struggling, short fields are always in play. On the other side, the Giants get a good matchup against a Washington secondary allowing chunk plays all season. With both teams bleeding points and playing loose, this sets up for a higher-scoring divisional game.
