The Cleveland Browns (3-10) and Chicago Bears (9-4) meet Sunday in a Week 15 matchup at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Browns vs. Bears odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.

The Browns lead the all-time series 11-7, including a 20-17 win on Dec. 17, 2023, in the most recent victory in Cleveland. The Browns have won 2 in a row in the series, with winning their most recent home game 20-3 against Cleveland on Dec. 24, 2017. The home team is 10-1 SU in the past 11 meetings since 1980.

The weather forecast for Sunday calls for sunny conditions, but temperatures at kickoff are scheduled to be 9 degrees Fahrenheit with winds at 10-13 MPH, causing sub-zero wind chill temperatures.

Cleveland suffered a 31-29 loss at home to the Tennessee Titans, failing to cover as 3-point favorites as the Over (33) easily cashed. Rookie QB Shedeur Sanders threw for 364 yards, 3 TDs and 1 INT with a team-best 29 rushing yards and a score. He joins Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow as the only rookie in NFL history to throw for at least 350 yards with 3+ TD passes and a rushing score in a single game.

The Bears had a 5-game winning streak snapped at thebGreen Bay Packers last Sunday, falling 28-21 as 7-point underdogs. QB Caleb Williams threw for 186 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT, hooking up with TE Colston Loveland and WR Olamide Zaccheaus for scores. The Bears are still 3-0-1 against the spread (ATS) in the past 4 games, and 4-1-1 ATS in past 6 outings. The Over is 2-1 in the past 3 games, while holding a 4-3 edge in the past 7 contests.

AVOID.

The Bears (-400) will cost you 4 times your return. Chicago enters the day in the playoffs in the NFC, while Cleveland is well out of the picture in the AFC, that’s just too steep of a price for a standalone play. Even as part of a multi-leg parlay, the reward isn’t worth the risk.

Back the BEARS -7.5 (-110), but don’t get carried away. A 7 and a hook number is never terribly favorable, as that half-point always seems to come into play. Last week, in Chicago’s loss at Green Bay, if you had a flat 7, you get your money back, but if you bet earlier and got the 7 and a hook, you came out a winner.

Of course, last week’s game was playoff-like, while this is contender against tanker. Still, Sanders is looking to put on a show under center, trying to impress and show he is the future at the position.

UNDER 38.5 (-105) is the lean, but go with a half-unit play at best.

We have routinely seen low totals with the Browns, and last week, with a closing total of 33, they lost 31-29 in a barn burner. The Under is 2-1 in the past 3 games for Cleveland, though, with the offense averaging 18.3 PPG in the past 6 games.

For Chicago, while it has been winning, the defense has allowed 28 or more points in 4 of the past 7 games. Cleveland isn’t expected to move the ball and score at those levels, though, and the Browns defense is strong. Factor in the temperature, too, and we’ll go low on the total.
