The weather may be getting colder across the country but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are enjoying a Creamsicle in December.
Tampa Bay and the Atlanta Falcons face off tonight in the opening game of Week 15 NFL action on “Thursday Night Football.” Casual fans may be a bit confused by the colors on the field.
The Buccaneers gave their typical red and pewter uniforms a break this week and donned their “Creamsicle” uniforms.
The fan-favorite “Creamsicle” uniforms have been back since 2023, but Week 15 is the first time that they’ve been worn in the 2025 season.
The team’s old “Bucco Bruce” pirate on the helmet is a combination the team used for the first two decades of the franchise.
They previously wore the white road throwbacks, reintroduced in 2025, in Week 3 vs. the New York Jets, and also vs. the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5.
Their opponents for tonight’s game are also wearing some throwback uniforms as well. Atlanta is wearing alternate uniforms paying homage to their 1966 jerseys: red helmets, black jerseys with block numbers, white pants and striped socks.
The two NFC South foes have four quarters to decide which team is the best dressed en route to victory Thursday night in Tampa.
