For the second straight season, a three-win Jets team trudges into Duval County for a Week 15 showdown with the Jaguars.

Aaron Rodgers threw for three touchdowns, two going to Davante Adams, leading the Jets to their fourth win on the season.

Gang Green finds itself in the same spot — only this time, neither Rodgers nor Adams will be suiting up for Aaron Glenn at EverBank Stadium on Sunday.

What a difference a year can make.

The Jaguars enter as two-possession home favorites, laying 13.5 points against the Jets, per BetMGM.

Trevor Lawrence and the offense have put it together of late, with Lawrence throwing for two touchdowns and no interceptions in back-to-back weeks.

Jacksonville is the top seed in the AFC South, rolling and winners of four straight games.

Brian Thomas Jr., Brenton Strange and Jakobi Meyers have all been viable pass-catchers for the Jags, with Meyers recording a receiving touchdown in three straight. Out of the backfield, Travis Etienne has 1,098 scrimmage yards and is coming off a two-touchdown outing in Week 13 against the Colts.

Lawrence won’t have to worry about getting passes completed; the Jets’ pass rush has been pedestrian, and their secondary has yet to record an interception through Week 14. In addition, the Jets’ run defense has dropped to the bottom three, allowing 139.2 yards per game.

Etienne’s odds to cross the pylon as an anytime scorer are -200 on bet365, further indication of how inept the Jets have been against the run lately.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars’ defense boasts a pesky 1.8 takeaways per game, tied for second-most in the league. They have held opposing offenses to just 15.9 points per contest in their last three games.

It all starts with led pass-rusher Josh Hines-Allen, who’s recorded a sack in every game during the Jags’ winning streak. Devin Lloyd leads the team in interceptions with five, the Jaguars as a collective have 15 on the season.

The Jets have no choice but to send out third-string quarterback Brady Cook, with Taylor and Justin Fields both battling injuries. Cook finished with a sub-50 percent completion rate, passing for 163 yards after taking over for Taylor in the 34-10 loss at MetLife to the Dolphins.

It was a forgettable outing for the Missouri product in Week 13, as he was sacked six times, threw a pair of interceptions, and fumbled twice. Nick Folk connected from 31 yards out, and the Jets’ lone touchdown was a 78-yard punt return from Isaiah Williams.

Betting on the NFL?

Breece Hall remains the Jets’ only serviceable option on offense, but he’ll have to brace for a Jacksonville rush defense that ranks first, allowing only 82.9 yards rushing per game to opposing backs.

With Garrett Wilson out on IR, trade deadline additions John Metchie and AD Mitchell have shown glimpses, but it’s truly slim pickings and a bleak spot for any offensive cohesion for Gang Green.

Expect the Jags to outpace a Jets team that is nowhere near playoff contention.

The Plays: Jets Total points 13.5 Under (-115, BetMGM) + Cook Interceptions thrown Over 0.5 (-196, DraftKings)
