Over the past few weeks, Shedeur Sanders has more firmly placed himself in the conversation to become the franchise quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.

The fifth-round rookie, who fell far below his projected first-round tag in April’s NFL Draft, earned Cleveland’s QB1 job in Week 12 and hasn’t relented it since — and in last week, he posted 364 passing yards and four total touchdowns, despite the Browns’ loss to the Titans.

With Sanders’ play only improving, head coach Kevin Stefanski has already ruled him the rest-of-season starter in Cleveland. Over the next few weeks, the former Colorado star will have a few opportunities to continue building his case to lead the Browns’ offense again in 2026, starting with a Week 15 matchup against the Chicago Bears.
