It seems like the Commanders are trying to get some momentum on offense. They have a good plan for the ground attack, despite being down Chris Rodriguez, but penalties, drops and other mistakes are getting in their way. They have another opportunity to close out the first quarter, though, after a good return from Jaylin Lane. They’re at the Giants’ 33-yard line following a 14-yard pickup from Samuel.
