This Chiefs rookie recorded his first career interception in Week 15

The Kansas City Chiefs are in the midst of a close matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 15 action at Arrowhead Stadium.

Patrick Mahomes helped Kansas City get out to an early lead over the Chargers in the first quarter, but the Chiefs haven’t seemed content to let Los Angeles hang around.

When the Chargers took possession early in the contest’s second frame, rookie defensive lineman Ashton Gillotte took matters into his own hands with a clutch interception against superstar quarterback Justin Herbert.

Take a look at this video of Gillotte’s game-breaking interception, which was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account:

While this AFC West showdown still has plenty of time remaining, Kansas City has shown signs of life early in the first half and could be on its way to a clutch home win against Los Angeles.
