Entering Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith had a 1-yard reception to show for his rookie season.

But on Sunday, the former Auburn standout’s second NFL reception produced his first touchdown.

Lambert-Smith caught a third-and-3 pass from quarterback Justin Herbert for a 15-yard touchdown as the Chargers cut the Chiefs’ lead to 13-10 with five seconds left in the first half.

Lambert-Smith’s first NFL score came in frigid conditions at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The temperature for kickoff was 17 degrees.

Lambert-Smith became the 102nd Auburn alumnus to score a touchdown in an NFL regular-season game.
