FOURTH QUARTER

– Baltimore increased the lead to 24-0 when Joe Burrow was intercepted by Baltimore linebacker Kyle Van Noy at the Baltimore 5, and Van Noy then lateraled to safety Alohi Gilman, who raced the final 85 yards for a touchdown with 7:38 remaining in the game.

– The Bengals are very much in danger of being shutout at home for the first time since the 2017 opener when they lost to the Ravens 20-0.

THIRD QUARTER

– Baltimore’s first series of the quarter ended when Lamar Jackson’s pass went off the hands of wide receiver Zay Flowers and Bengals safety Jordan Battle made a diving interception on the Bengals 27 with 9:39 to play in the half.

– The Bengals second offensive series of the game carried over into this quarter, but it ended when a pass by Joe Burrow went off the hands of a leaping Ja’Marr Chase and was intercepted by Marlon Humphrey on the Ravens 14 and returned 21 yards with 11:37 left in the half.

– On the Bengals first possession of the game they drove from their own 20 to the Baltimore 25, but quarterback Joe Burrow was sacked for a 15-yard loss on 3rd-and-4 and they wound up having to punt.

– Bengals defensive end Myles Murphy sacked Lamar Jackson on third down on the Ravens first series of the game forcing them to punt, which went into the end zone for a touchback with 11:15 remaining in the quarter.
