In the Detroit Lions’ 34-27 overtime victory against the New York Giants on Nov. 23, wide receiver Jameson Williams did not catch a pass. In the Lions’ next game, he had a career-high seven receptions for 144 yards and one touchdown on Nov. 27, followed by another seven-catch game on Dec. 4. And on Sunday, Williams matched his career high for third game in a row with seven receptions.

But even though Williams collected 134 receiving yards and caught a touchdown pass, Detroit lost to the Los Angeles Rams 41-34.

Williams caught a 31-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jared Goff as Detroit took a 24-14 lead over Los Angeles with 30 seconds left in the first half.

Williams’ receiving yardage was the third-most in his career. In his first 21 games, Williams did not reach 100 receiving yards in any of them. In his past 30 games, Williams has seven 100-yard performances.

Williams was among the 47 former Alabama players who got on the field on the 15th Sunday of the NFL’s 106th season.

Jordan Battle started at safety for the Bengals. Battle led Cincinnati with eight tackles, made one tackle for loss and intercepted one pass. On a second-and-8 snap at the Bengals 40-yard line, Battle picked off quarterback Lamar Jackson at the 27. Battle’s fourth interception of the season was the sixth of his career. Derrick Henry started at running back for the Ravens. Henry ran for 100 yards on 11 carries. With 52 regular-season games with at least 100 rushing yards, Henry has the 10th-most in NFL history. With 12,548 career rushing yards, Henry is 191 behind 10th-place Tony Dorsett on the NFL all-time list.  Marlon Humphrey (Hoover) started at cornerback for the Ravens. Humphrey had two tackles and one interception. On a third-and-5 snap at the Baltimore 29-yard line, Humphrey picked off quarterback Joe Burrow at the 14 and returned it 21 yards to the Ravens 35. Humphrey’s second interception of the 2025 season was the 21st of this NFL career, which is tied with Woodrow Lowe, Deshea Townsend and Minkah Fitzpatrick for seventh on Alabama’s NFL list.Bengals center Seth McLauglin is on the practice squad and not eligible to play.

Houston Texans 40, Arizona Cardinals 20

Will Anderson Jr. started at defensive end for the Texans. Anderson registered one quarterback hit.Christian Harris started at linebacker for the Texans. Harris made three tackles on defense and one tackle on special teams in his first start of the season.Dalvin Tomlinson started at nose tackle for the Cardinals. Los Angeles Chargers 16, Kansas City Chiefs 13

Bradley Bozeman (Handley) started at center for the Chargers.Chargers defensive tackle Justin Eboigbe made one tackle.Da’Shawn Hand started at defensive tackle for the Chargers. Hand made two tackles and recorded two tackles for loss.Chargers running back Najee Harris is on injured reserve and not eligible to play.Chargers punter JK Scott averaged 37.5 yards on four punts with no return yards. Jacobs caught a 14-yard touchdown pass as the Packers took a 13-7 lead with 4:29 left in the first half and ran 40 yards for a touchdown to put Green Bay up 23-14 with 13:59 left in the third quarter.Xavier McKinney started at safety for the Packers.
