In the Detroit Lions’ 34-27 overtime victory against the New York Giants on Nov. 23, wide receiver Jameson Williams did not catch a pass. In the Lions’ next game, he had a career-high seven receptions for 144 yards and one touchdown on Nov. 27, followed by another seven-catch game on Dec. 4. And on Sunday, Williams matched his career high for third game in a row with seven receptions.
But even though Williams collected 134 receiving yards and caught a touchdown pass, Detroit lost to the Los Angeles Rams 41-34.
Williams caught a 31-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jared Goff as Detroit took a 24-14 lead over Los Angeles with 30 seconds left in the first half.
Williams’ receiving yardage was the third-most in his career. In his first 21 games, Williams did not reach 100 receiving yards in any of them. In his past 30 games, Williams has seven 100-yard performances.
Williams was among the 47 former Alabama players who got on the field on the 15th Sunday of the NFL’s 106th season.

Derrick Henry started at running back for the Ravens. Henry ran for 100 yards on 11 carries. With 52 regular-season games with at least 100 rushing yards, Henry has the 10th-most in NFL history. With 12,548 career rushing yards, Henry is 191 behind 10th-place Tony Dorsett on the NFL all-time list. Marlon Humphrey (Hoover) started at cornerback for the Ravens. Humphrey had two tackles and one interception. On a third-and-5 snap at the Baltimore 29-yard line, Humphrey picked off quarterback Joe Burrow at the 14 and returned it 21 yards to the Ravens 35. Humphrey’s second interception of the 2025 season was the 21st of this NFL career, which is tied with Woodrow Lowe, Deshea Townsend and Minkah Fitzpatrick for seventh on Alabama’s NFL list.Bengals center Seth McLauglin is on the practice squad and not eligible to play.
