The Buccaneers have reportedly signed Colts’ LB Anthony Walker Jr. off the team’s practice squad.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are signing linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. off the Indianapolis Colts’ practice squad, according to Ian Rapoport.
Walker Jr. has been with the Colts the entire season, signing with the team’s practice squad in late August following roster cutdowns.
Walker Jr. will now join the Tampa Bay 53-man roster.
Walker Jr. hadn’t appeared in any games this season with the Colts, but is a former fifth-round draft pick by Indianapolis in 2017. He would spend four seasons with the Colts, Â appearing in 57 games, which includes 48 starts.
Walker Jr. has also spent four seasons with Cleveland, the 2024 season with Miami, and this past offseason with Tampa Bay before joining the Colts’ practice squad.
Most recently with Miami, Walker played in 14 games, recording an interception, two pass deflections, and 68 total tackles.
Without Walker Jr., the Colts now have an opening on the practice squad to fill.
