The belief is that Baltimore Ravens linebacker Teddye Buchanan tore his ACL in Sunday’s 24-0 win at the Cincinnati Bengals,
Can confirm this as we reported yesterday. A tough blow for Teddye, a super young player who’d been rounding into form as a rookie https://t.co/bQuHIq1Geg

Teddye Buchanan’s rookie season could be over after the talented linebacker was carted off early in the Ravens‘ Week 15 matchup against the Bengals at Paycor Stadium. Buchanan was forced to exit, and the Ravens brass fear he suffered a season-ending torn ACL.
A rookie fourth-round pick, Buchanan injured his right knee on punt coverage in the first quarter and was carted off to the locker room. He left the stadium using a cane.
Ravens LB Teddye Buchannan ranks fifth among Baltimore defenders with 639 snaps this season. He also handles a large special teams load, ranking third with 233 ST snaps.
The rookie out of California is helped off the field with trainers, appears to be favoring his right leg.

Buchanan would be the second defensive starter that Baltimore would lose for the season, joining Pro Bowl defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike, who suffered a season-ending neck injury in Week 2.
Buchanan has 91 tackles in the regular season with one forced fumble and one pass defended. With Buchanan out, Trenton Simpson will enter the lineup.
