The situation mirrors a growing trend across the NFL this season, with high-profile players’ homes increasingly targeted while teams travel for road games. Despite the loss, Jeffery Simmons had a rare highlight moment, hauling in a touchdown pass from rookie quarterback Cam Ward on a trick play that caught the 49ers completely off guard.
As of now, no arrests have been announced, and details regarding the stolen items have not been publicly disclosed. The Titans emphasized that no one was inside the home during the burglary, and the investigation remains ongoing.
