Nix posted his third 300-yard game of the season, threw four touchdown passes and recorded a 134.8 passer rating in a 34-26 win over the Packers.
The second-year quarterback made a slew of impressive throws, including a fourth-and-2 dart to Courtland Sutton as the game hung in the balance.
In addition to the four touchdown passes, Nix also avoided negative plays. The Broncos’ quarterback was not sacked and did not turn the ball over while facing the NFL’s sixth-ranked scoring defense.
With the win, Nix tied Andrew Luck, Dak Prescott and Ben Roethlisberger for the second-most victories in a quarterback’s first two seasons.
Nix is also now tied for the third-most games with four-plus passing touchdowns by a player in his first two seasons. Only Hall of Famer Dan Marino and Patrick Mahomes have more in their first two years in the NFL. In Broncos history, only Peyton Manning and John Elway have more games in their careers with four-plus passing touchdowns.
Jacksonville’s Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne, San Francisco’s Brock Purdy, the Los Angeles Rams’ Puka Nacua and Atlanta’s Kyle Pitts are also nominated for the honor.
