The Philadelphia Eagles desperately needed a feel-good win after dropping three straight losses heading into Week 15. Luckily for them, the lowly Raiders were next up on the schedule.
Following a five-turnover nightmare last week against the Chargers, QB Jalen Hurts led his offense on a 13-play scoring drive right out of the gate yesterday. Kenny Pickett and the Raiders’ offense turned the ball over on downs on their first possession, and that was the last time they were competitive.

Once the Eagles secured a 31-0 lead early in the fourth quarter, the starters were pulled and got an early rest. The game ended at 3:35 PM and lasted just two hours and 31 minutes, the shortest game in team history, according to Stathead.
There were only six penalties between the two teams, and the Eagles controlled the ball for nearly 40 minutes, which kept the clock churning. The victory was Philadelphia’s first shutout at home since Week 6 in 2014. Fans were certainly appreciative of the efficient performance, as it allowed them to escape the sub-20-degree weather.
The Eagles will now prepare for a Saturday matchup against Washington, with a chance to clinch back-to-back division titles.
