Steelers vs. Dolphins: The matchup
The Steelers restored optimism in Week 14 by beating the Baltimore Ravens (27-22) on the road to break a 6-6 tie at the top of the AFC North. Pittsburgh improved to 7-6 with that victory and sent the Ravens to 6-7 before they bounced back and kept the pressure on the Steelers with a 24-0 shutout win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The Steelers are listed as 3-point favorites on Monday night to maintain that one-game lead and stay in playoff position after escaping Baltimore with a win, thanks in part to a pair of big Ravens plays that were overturned.

The Dolphins are playing with nothing to lose after stumbling horribly to a 1-6 start to the season and ramping up the volume on calls for coach Mike McDaniel’s job. But Miami has now won four straight games and five of its past six to pull to within a game of .500 at 6-7. The bulk of the team’s momentum came from a stunning 30-13 win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 10 on a big day from running back De’Von Achane, who rushed for 174 yards and two touchdowns.
