NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says Pittsburgh is ‘definitely ready’ to host the NFL Draft

The 2026 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says Pittsburgh is ready for all the festivities. During Pittsburgh Action News 4’s Black and Gold Primetime pregame special ahead of the Steelers-Dolphins game Monday night, Goodell spoke on the draft and how special it will be to Pittsburgh. “You are definitely ready. You know, this town knows all about football, and how to celebrate football, and that’s what it’s all about,” Goodell told Action News Monday night. Goodell said it will be bigger than what most people might expect, saying yinzers will be ready in full fashion. “It’s going to be bigger than what you can expect,” Goodell said. “It has grown every year. We keep talking about the fact of wanting communities to do it their way, so there will be a lot of yinzers and a lot of ways to celebrate the game .” Earlier this month, members of the NFL, Visit Pittsburgh, and the Pittsburgh Steelers organization met with downtown business owners for the second of three town hall meetings to further explain planning strategies ahead of the NFL Draft.Pittsburgh will host the three-day NFL Draft, April 23-25.PREVIOUS NFL DRAFT COVERAGE:
