Is Shedeur Sanders one of the NFL’s most popular players? You’d be hard-pressed to find a player with more name recognition than the Cleveland Browns‘ fifth-round rookie.

That fandom has only grown in recent weeks with Sanders’ becoming the Browns’ starter. Now, with Pro Bowl voting in full swing, Sanders is making a run not seen by many fifth-round picks, not to mention one that has only played five full NFL games.

Sanders is among the top 10 Pro Bowl vote-getters at his position, with the vote exclusively fan-based thus far. Sitting in the No. 10 slot likely won’t be enough for Sanders to make the trip to San Francisco for the Pro Bowl Games, but it still should be considered quite the achievement for the rookie.

Sanders’ first few starts have featured some good and some bad. He won Rookie of the Week last week for his performance against the Titans (four total touchdowns), but then came back against the Chicago Bears and threw three interceptions.

Sanders will have the opportunity to start the Browns’ final three games against Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati.

A Pro-Bowl nod for Sanders seems unlikely at this point, but with injuries and the possibility of him finishing the season strong, anything is on the table. After all, Tyler Huntley was a Pro Bowl injury replacement a few years ago, and we all know that the NFL would love the fanfare of Sanders being at the Pro Bowl festivities.
