The Titans have brought an end to the season for three players, and the team has added three players to the 53-man roster as well.

Tennessee on Tuesday placed safeties Kevin Winston Jr. (hamstring), Xavier Woods (hamstring) and Mike Brown (ankle) on injured reserve after each suffered injuries in last Sunday’s loss to San Francisco.

Players on IR must miss at least four games, and the Titans (2-12) have just three contests remaining.

The Titans bolstered the safety position by signing Erick Hallett II off Detroit’s practice squad and Sanoussi Kane off Baltimore’s practice squad. Tennessee also claimed guard Garrett Dellinger off waivers from Cleveland.

The most disappointing injury loss for the Titans is likely Winston, the team’s third-round draft pick in April.

He missed the entire offseason, part of training camp and all the preseason contests while recovering from an ACL injury suffered last year at Penn State. Winston didn’t play for the first five games of this season, but started the Titans’ last six contests.

The 22-year-old Winston finished his rookie season with 34 tackles, one sack, four tackles for loss and two passes defensed. Pro Football Focus gave Winston a 61.2 overall grade, with a wide disparity between his grade against the run (89.4) and against the pass (43.4).

As for the new players, Hallett initially joined Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent in 2023. He was signed by the Lions in 2024, and Hallett started his first game with the Lions in October this season, posting a team-high eight tackles. The 5-11, 200-pound Hallett had 10 tackles in the Lions’ loss to the Rams last Sunday.

The 5-11, 210-pound Kane was a seventh-round draft pick of Baltimore in 2024. He’s played in 22 career games over the past two seasons, primarily on special teams, and has totaled 10 tackles.

The 6-5, 322-pound Garrett was a seventh-round pick of the Ravens in 2025. Cleveland signed Garrett after Baltimore cut him, and he played 29 snaps in the Browns’ loss to Chicago last Sunday, posting a 67.0 overall grade from PFF.

Tennessee guard Kevin Zeitler left Sunday’s game with a groin injury and was replaced by Corey Levin.
