Alohi Gilman’s arrival has taken the Ravens‘ secondary to another level, and the former Notre Dame product had his hard work rewarded on Wednesday. Gilman has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week, the Ravens’ second honor this season.

The highlight of Baltimore’s shutout win over Cincinnati was Gilman’s 95-yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Eighty-four yards came after Kyle Van Noy handed him the ball following his interception of Joe Burrow.

Gilman also logged eight tackles and one pass defensed.
