Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence talks great opportunity for LeQuint Allen

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was asked about rookie running back LeQuint Allen, who is expected to have an increased role.

The Jacksonville Jaguars exited their Week 15 matchup against the New York Jets a bit more banged up than when they entered it.

Still, the team is relatively healthy entering Week 16 against the Denver Broncos with just a few players listed as not participating in Wednesday’s practice session.

Not seen at practice on Wednesday included defensive end Josh Hines-Allen (illness), DE Danny Striggow (ankle) and running back Bhayshul Tuten (finger). Tuten will reportedly miss a few weeks after undergoing surgery to repair the injury. It is unclear when Hines-Allen will return to practice.

Jaguars rookie linebacker Jalen McLeod returned to practice this week after the team announced that they would open his 21-day practice window. McLeod was dealing with a lower-body injury and has been on injured reserve since the start of the season.

Both Jaguars defenders, Arik Armstead and Travon Walker, remain on the team’s injury report despite fully participating. Armstead has a hand injury that has required a club, while Walker has been back for two games since sustaining a knee injury a few weeks ago.

Walker is also dealing with a brace on his wrist after undergoing surgery early in the season.

Here’s the team’s full injury report ahead of their game against the Broncos.
