The Dallas Cowboys have opened the practice windows for three players returning from injury on Wednesday, the team announced.
Cornerback Josh Butler (knee), running back Phil Mafah (shoulder) and defensive end Payton Turner (ribs) will all be able to hit the field over the next three weeks, and attempt to make a return to action before the conclusion of the 2025 season.
Mafah, a seventh-round draft pick from Clemson, was placed on IR after suffering an injury in the Cowboys’ final preseason game.
Butler has been on the physically unable to perform list since the start of the season, as he continues his recovery from a torn ACL suffered late in 2024.
