The Denver Broncos have already clinched a spot in the NFL playoffs. This week, they could clinch a division title as well.
The Broncos can clinch the AFC West on Sunday with a win against the Jacksonville Jaguars (10-4) plus a Los Angeles Chargers (10-4) loss to the Dallas Cowboys (6-7-1). If both those results go Denver’s way, the Broncos would improve to 13-2 and the Chargers would drop to 10-5. After that, even in a worst-case scenario, a 13-4 Denver finish would still beat a possible 12-5 finish for Los Angeles.
The Broncos could also clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff race, but that scenario is less likely this week. To clinch the top seed on Sunday, Denver needs a win, a Chargers loss plus a loss from the New England Patriots (11-3) and a loss or tie from the Buffalo Bills (10-4). New England will play the Baltimore Ravens (7-7) and Buffalo will face the Cleveland Browns (11-3). Possible, but not probable.

The first order of business will be attempting to get a win against the Jaguars. Denver’s considered a home favorite going into Sunday’s game, which will be regionally televised on Fox.
