“TJ is working thru it and he’s handling the situation day by day..

It’s obviously not something that he expected and he’s finding the proper steps to get back to where he would like it be” ~ @JJWatt

The Pittsburgh Steelers received some news on T.J. Watt’s recovery, courtesy of his big brother J.J. Watt.

On Wednesday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show, J.J. provided an important health update regarding his brother’s recovery.

“He’s working through it,” J.J. said about his brother T.J.’s recovery. “It’s obviously not somewhere that he expected or would like to be. Just handling the situation day by day and making sure to find the appropriate and proper steps to get back to where he would like to be.”

Last Friday, it was revealed that T.J. underwent surgery to repair a partially collapsed lung that occurred as a result of a dry needling mishap.

In T.J.’s absence on Monday Night Football, the Steelers’ defense managed to shred through the Miami Dolphins like a hot knife through butter — with veteran DT Cam Heyward even paying respect to his injured teammate with his patented leg-kick sack celebration.

We at Steelers Wire are committed to providing updates on T.J.’s condition as he recovers from the lung surgery he underwent last week, with several insiders believing he could return in time for the Week 16 matchup against the Detroit Lions.
