Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett (7) prepares to play the Los Angeles Rams at State Farm Stadium on Dec 7, 2025, in Glendale, Ariz. Syndication: Arizona Republic
GLENDALE – At 3-11, one would understand the struggles of continuing to put in work in a lost season. The Arizona Cardinals are amidst one of the worst seasons in franchise history, with enough negativity from fans and outside noise to squash them. However, quarterback Jacoby Brissett spoke with the media on Monday and stated that Arizona hasn’t quit on this season yet.

Brissett, who is on his sixth team, has been a part of rosters and teams with players and coaches zoned out and ready for the offseason, but not here.

Brissett on past teams compared to Cardinals:
“You’ll be able to tell really fast, based on the product being put out there and you’ll see guys do uncharacteristic things. I haven’t seen any of those signs, or anything remotely close to those signs.
“It’s how the locker room looks. The product on the field, whether that’s practice or game. You’re definitely able to see it. You can tell guys are already in Cancun or Cabo.”

Brissett continued to praise head coach Jonathan Gannon for his continuous ability to uplift the team. Through the team’s turmoil, the one constant has been players coming out to show their support for Gannon and talk about his earnest ability to hammer home the message to his players.
The relationships that the players have amongst themselves and the coaches are a strong reason for why the team hasn’t quit, according to Brissett. Tight End Trey McBride is a massive example of the passion still alive in the franchise, with his energy in practice and on the field on Sunday.
The end results for the past six weeks haven’t been pretty for Arizona, 0-6 and allowing 36.6 points per games. Regardless, Brissett still sees a group of players that are trying to put their best foot forward and trying to do the right thing.
