Neal suffered a hamstring injury in the Saints’ 20-17 win over the Carolina Panthers Sunday.He had a crucial 4-yard rushing touchdown in the game.He appeared in 10 games this season, finishing with 57 carries for 207 yards and 2 touchdowns.Neal saw his workload increase over the last three weeks.He took over for Alvin Kamara, who hurt his knee in the loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Nov. 11.In the last three games, Neal carried the ball 40 times for 145 yards and 2 touchdowns.He scored his first career touchdown in the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Dec. 7.It was his best game as a rookie with 19 carries for 70 yards and 1 touchdown.Right now, the Saints have running backs Audric Estime and Evan Hull on the active roster.The Saints also signed Nyheim Miller-Hines to the practice squad to help with depth at running back.
