After the Los Angeles Chargers (10-4) revealed a 12-man injury report list following its first day of practice ahead of the franchise’s Week 16 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys (6-7-1) from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Dec. 21, the Bolts’ Thursday injury report includes signs of improvement.
Chargers Injury Report
Per the Dec. 18 injury report, the Chargers still have 12 players listed with varying participation tags attached.
Wide receiver Keenan Allen and outside linebacker Khalil Mack, who took their usual veteran rest days on Wednesday, were full participants on Thursday.
Joining the two veteran stars were quarterback Justin Herbert (left hand) and linebacker Troy Dye (hip), who was a full participant for the second day in a row.
Five players were listed as “limited,” which included wide receiver Quentin Johnston (groin), defensive back Elijah Molden (hamstring), tackle Trey Pipkins III (ankle), wide receiver Tre’ Harris (hip), and defensive lineman Teair Tart (shin).
The team had three players carry “did not practice” tags on Thursday, including safety RJ Mickens (shoulder), wide receiver Derius Davis (ankle), and outside linebacker Bud Dupree (back).
DuPree’s status is the only one of the three to be downgraded, as he was “limited” on Wednesday. The other two were non-participants on Wednesday, making their potential availability on Sunday increasingly remote.
The Chargers and Cowboys are expected to kick off on Sunday at 10 a.m. PT and will be broadcast on FOX.
