The Kansas City Chiefs are officially out of the playoff hunt after last week’s gut-wrenching loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Chiefs‘ Week 15 performance was indicative of a team in need of a revamp. Kansas City’s offense looked subpar and was ill-equipped to compete with the Chargers’ defense, which held the reigning AFC champions to just 239 yards.

Despite a number of offensive struggles on Sunday, star offensive lineman Creed Humphrey played some of his best football of the season and walked away with the Chiefs’ highest Pro Football Focus grade of the contest.

The experts at PFF awarded Humphrey a grade of 82.8, which topped the list of Kansas City players by a wide margin.

The former Oklahoma Sooner has been a staple of the Chiefs’ offense since his rookie season and has quietly become one of the league’s best centers.

Expect Humphrey to continue playing at an elite level when Kansas City takes on the Tennessee Titans in Week 16.
