The New York Jets have made a decision on wide receiver Garrett Wilson.

Wilson, 25, has been on injured reserve because of a knee injury since Nov. 13.

Wilson is eligible to be activated from IR, but he won’t be.

Head coach Aaron Glenn has announced Wilson will be shut down for the remainder of the 2025 season.

“Garrett is doing a really good job in his rehab but what we’re going to do, in talking to the docs and talking to him, is we’re going to hold him out for the rest of the season,” Glenn said.

Wilson will finish with 36 catches for 395 yards and four touchdowns in seven games in 2025. His knee injury caused him to miss time and Wilson did return to action for the Jets but re-injured it.

This season will be Wilson’s first in his career he did not surpass the 1,000-yard plateau.
