The Rams will likely be without Dotson and Adams when they take the field next against Atlanta
Sean McVay said OL Kevin Dotson suffered an ankle sprain against Seahawks and “might miss some time.” McVay also indicated Dotson’s status is doubtful for Week 17 at Falcons.
Said Seahawks LB Derick Hall’s stomp didn’t cause the injury but “doesn’t belong in our game.”

The Los Angeles Rams will likely be a little bit shorthanded the next time they take the field. Sean McVay shared injury updates on both Davante Adams and Kevin Dotson during his media session on Friday and said they’re both doubtful to play against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 17.
Adams is dealing with a hamstring injury that he aggravated last week against the Detroit Lions, causing him to miss Thursday’s game in Seattle. Dotson suffered a sprained ankle in Thursday’s loss and “might miss some time,” McVay said.
It’s unclear how long Dotson will be out but he was on crutches and in a walking boot following the Rams’ loss to Seattle. McVay also clarified that Derick Hall stepping on Dotson’s ankle didn’t cause the injury, but he said there’s no place for those actions “in our game.”
Hall was suspended one game for it.
Adams “most likely” won’t play against the Falcons as he still nurses his hamstring injury; he was doubtful in Week 16 and after warming up on the field pre-game, he was held out of action.
The Rams and Falcons don’t play until Monday night in Week 17, so any other injured players will have a few days of extra rest before their next game.
