The New York Giants (2-12) will take on the Minnesota Vikings (6-8) on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in their 15th game of the 2025 regular season.

Opening the week, the Giants were listed as 2.5-point home underdogs, but that line has shifted slightly with Minnesota now at -3 as of this writing.

How does the Giants Wire staff see this Week 16 battle shaking out? Here’s a look at our picks and score predictions.

Dan Benton: Vikings 27, Giants 17

The Giants insist they’re not tanking — NFL players won’t tank — but luckily for them, trying doesn’t yield wins. Most players will give max effort on Sunday in an attempt to salvage at least one more victory this season, but losers lose, and these Giants, unfortunately, are losers. The Vikings come in, air it out, and defeat the Giants in front of another half-empty stadium.

John Fennelly: Giants 26, Vikings 24

No reason to pick the Giants here other than they can’t lose forever. The Vikings are a better team, but they’re just as flawed as the Giants right now and have a young quarterback they can force into mistakes. Pride has to stand for something, too. The line is 2.5 for a reason. The oddsmakers believe the Giants can win.

Tyler Henry: Vikings 27, Giants 17

The Giants have lost a lot of one-possession games this season, and I don’t think this one ends that way. Although the Vikings have been eliminated from playoff contention, they played the Cowboys tough on Monday Night Football last week and came away with the win. I think the Vikings will handle the Giants comfortably, and the Giants hang on to control over the No. 1 pick for at least one more week.

Serena Burks: Giants 20, Vikings 17

After losing four straight games, the Vikings have won their last two, both against NFC East teams. J.J. McCarthy is starting to look like he can handle himself in the pocket, and with weapons like Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, Minnesota is taking baby steps in the right direction. The Giants are still terrible, but the their front seven is going to have a heyday with a Vikings’ offensive line that’s allowed 47 sacks this season. The biggest question, for me, is how the Giants’ offense handles the Vikings’ defense. I think Tyrone Tracy Jr. is an X factor this week, and the Giants take the win.
