The New York Giants (2-12) host the Minnesota Vikings (6-8) at MetLife Stadium this Sunday afternoon in a matchup between two teams out of contention for the NFC playoffs.
There’s still plenty of interest, however, as it is an NFL game, and the two parties have no intention of letting up at this point.
Here are three prop bets for you to look over, per BetMGM.
Giants QB Jaxson Dart under 196.5 Passing Yards (-135)
The game will be played outdoors in the elements, and defensive coordinator Brian Flores’s group has been very good against quarterbacks in outdoor venues. The Vikings rank fifth in the NFL this year against the pass. They allowed 285 last Monday to Dak Prescott in Dallas, but had held teams to an average of 136.4 in their previous five games. Dart is averaging just 151 adjusted yards passing this season, one of the lowest in the NFL.
Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. over 11.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Tyrone Tracy Jr. has hit well over this number in three of his last four games, and the Giants don’t figure to be throwing deep very often against the tough Vikings pass defense, especially in the wind. Expect short passes from the Giants, and Tracy is one of the best receiving backs in the league.
Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy over 13.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Has anyone seen a worse defense against the run than this year’s Giants? Probably not for some time. J.J. McCarthy hasn’t been a frequent runner this year (averaging 19.3 YPG), and I’m sure the Vikings don’t want him taking any unnecessary chances, but he should have no problem scrambling for yards against the Giants this week. He could hit this number on one play.
