The Jacksonville Jaguars (10-4) and the Denver Broncos (12-2) meet Sunday in Week 16 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m. ET (FOX). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Jaguars vs. Broncos odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.

The Jaguars stayed hot in Week 15, rolling to a fifth straight win with a 48-20 blowout of the New York Jets. Jacksonville covered as 13-point home favorites as the Over (40) cashed. QB Trevor Lawrence torched New York for 330 yards and 5 touchdown passes, adding 51 rushing yards and another score. RB Travis Etienne Jr. found the end zone 3 times, while the defense forced 3 turnovers.

The Broncos keep rolling. Denver won its 11th straight game in Week 15, knocking off the Green Bay Packers 34-26 as a 1-point road underdog with the Over (42) cashing. QB Bo Nix threw for 302 yards and 4 touchdowns to 4 different receivers. WR Courtland Sutton led the way with 7 catches for 113 yards and a score as Denver clinched a playoff spot.

PASS.

Two of the hottest teams in the league, I’ve got Denver (-185) handling their business at home, but not at these odds. I’ll take my wager to the spread.

BET BRONCOS -3.5 (-105).

The Jaguars are red hot, and Lawrence has been outstanding, but most of that damage has come against shaky defenses. This is a massive step up. Denver’s defense has been the most disruptive unit in football, and it feels like a nightmare matchup for an offensive line that can be pushed around.

The Broncos get after quarterbacks better than anyone, leading the league in sacks and quarterback hits, and that pressure matters even more at altitude. Empower Field has been a house of horrors for visiting teams, and Denver has turned it into a real edge during this winning streak. Lawrence can make plays, but constant pressure limits downfield shots and forces mistakes.

On the other side, Nix is playing with confidence, protecting the ball and taking advantage when defenses blitz. Jacksonville’s defense is opportunistic, but it doesn’t generate consistent pressure, which gives Denver’s offense room to operate.

I respect the Jaguars’ run, but Denver’s front is built to stop it. This feels like a game where the Broncos gradually wear Jacksonville down. I’m laying the points and riding the hotter, more complete team at home.

BET UNDER 47 (-110).

The Broncos allow the fifth-fewest yards per game in the NFL and give up 18.6 points per contest. Jacksonville is hot, yet that 48-point explosion came against a Jets defense that’s been leaking oil all season. At altitude, against the league’s most aggressive pass rush, I expect Lawrence to face constant pressure. Both teams defend the run well, which usually slows pace and shortens games. With playoff stakes high, this feels more controlled than explosive.
