It appears that Marvin Harrison Jr. is set to make his return after missing 2 games with a heel injury.
The Arizona Cardinals announced a pair of roster moves to get ready for their Week 16 home finale against the Atlanta Falcons. Their game on Sunday kicks off from State Farm Stadium at 4:05 p.m. ET (2:05 p.m. Arizona time).
It appears that both Marvin Harrison Jr. and Xavier Weaver will return to the lineup after missing two games.
They elevated two players — receiver Steven Sims and cornerback Jaden Davis — from the practice squad as standard elevations.
Sims will likely be part of the kickoff return team, perhaps with Jalen Brooks, signed to the active roster this week.
With Sims, the Cardinals could have Harrison, Michael Wilson and Weaver in the lineup with Brooks getting some playing time, too.
Cornerbacks Max Melton and Darren Hall were ruled out, Melton with a heel injury and Hall with a concussion. Davis will make his NFL debut, likely playing just on special teams. He was the Cardinals’ seventh-round draft pick in 2024.
One move that was not made was activating defensive lineman L.J. Collier from injured reserve. He must be activated by Wednesday or revert to IR for the rest of the season.
