Week 16 offers a genuine AFC smashmouth rivalry, as the Patriots and Ravens meet on Sunday Night Football at M&T Bank Stadium. A huge matchup with postseason implications, the game was initially scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff before being flexed into Sunday Night Football.
This week’s game will be the fourth Sunday Night Football meeting between the two teams. The Patriots lost at Baltimore in the first two Sunday Night games in 2012 and 2019. The Patriots beat the Ravens, 23-17, in the last Sunday Night game on Nov. 15, 2020, at Gillette Stadium.

Zay Flowers is chasing history
Flowers (2,876) needs 124 yards to become the seventh player in team history to record 3,000 receiving yards. If Flowers (47 Games played) reaches the mark by the end of the regular season (his 50th Game played), he will become the fastest player to reach 3,000 receiving yards in franchise history (51 games – Derrick Mason). Flowers (2,876) needs 159 yards to surpass Ray Rice (3,034) for sixth on the franchise’s all-time receiving yards list.
Derrick Henry chasing Jim Brown
Henry (13) needs one game with at least 150 rushing yards and two rushing TDs to pass Jim Brown (also 13) for the most such games by a player in NFL history. The future Hall of Fame running back needs 100 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD to become the sixth player all-time with 40 such career games, joining Pro Football Hall of Famers Emmitt Smith (56 games), Walter Payton (48), Barry Sanders (43), LaDainian Tomlinson (43), and Jim Brown (41).

DeAndre Hopkins
Hopkins (85) needs one receiving TD to pass Lance Alworth, Hines Ward, and Paul Warfield (85 each) for sole possession of 19th on the all-time list.
Ravens are dominant under the lights
Baltimore’s 44-21 record in overall primetime games since 2008 is also the NFL’s best winning percentage (.677) over that stretch.
Drake Maye is a star
The younger brother of former UNC Tar Heels big man Luke Maye, Drake Maye, is a likely All-Pro and MVP finalist. In only his second season, Maye leads the league in completion percentage (70.9%), and only four quarterbacks have thrown for more yards. He’s a primary reason the Patriots (11-3) are atop the AFC East.
