The Houston Texans will be down two starters for Week 16’s battle against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Running back Woody Marks and lineback Azeez Al-Shaair were ruled inactive for Sunday’s late kickoff contest against the Raiders. With a win, Houston will move to 10 wins for the third straight season under DeMeco Ryans.

Marks, who left early in Sunday’s contest against the Arizona Cardinals with an ankle injury, was reportedly ruled out of play in Sunday’s contest earlier in the afternoon. He is expected to play again this season, but Houston won’t risk losing him for the postseason against a 2-win Raiders roster with a healthy Jahwar Jordan and Nick Chubb back in the fold.

Al-Shaair, who did not practice on Friday with a shoulder issue, perhaps is better used for the playoffs. He’s not expected to be out long-term, but a week of rest against a 2-win Raiders roster could be beneficial for the long haul as Houston looks to return to the postseason with a third straight division title.

Here’s who’s in and out for the Texans and Raiders on Sunday afternoon at NRG Stadium:
