Star watch: SteelersĀ
Aaron Rodgers was on the brink of retirement after last season with the Jets, and he and the Steelers played a game of cat and mouse all off season. The two finally came to an agreement and Rodgers joined Pittsburgh for what is most likely the final year of his career. The four time MVP’s numbers are far from what he is used to posting but at 42 years old, heās doing what he needs to do to keep the Steelers up in the AFC North standings. Heās had big games at times this season, like when he threw for 4 TDs in the Steelers loss to the Bengals or a couple weeks ago against the Ravens when he threw for 284 yards, but his season stats are pretty ordinary. Heās got 2,594 yards, 22 TDs and 7 INTs, but he is completing almost 70% of his passes. It is one of the biggest games of the season and these are the moments that the Steelers brought the four time MVP in for.Ā
