Washington Commanders head coach told reporters that left tackle Larmey Tunsil is “day-to-day” with an oblique injury as the Commanders prepare to face the Dallas Cowboys on Christmas Day.
“He worked with the trainers today,” Quinn said. “We will see as it gets closer to the game for him.”
Quinn added that Tunsil would jog through practice on Monday as he works his way back from injury.
Tunsil was ruled out of Washington’s Week 16 Saturday night loss against the Philadelphia Eagles after not participating in the Commanders’ practice on Thursday. It was the first game of the season that he had missed.
His backup, Brandon Coleman, is currently dealing with a shin injury; however, Quinn said that he is “hopeful” Coleman will be healthy for Thursday.
