Atlanta hangs on for 26-19 victory over Arizona.
The Atlanta Falcons trailed by 10 against the Arizona Cardinals in the first quarter but the team bounced back to pull off a 26-19 road victory. Sunday’s win was the Cardinals seventh in a row as they fall to 3-12 for the season. The Falcons improved to 6-9 and have won their last two games.
Veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins passed for 197 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Tight end Kyle Pitts caught another touchdown pass and running back Bijan Robinson racked up 168 all-purpose yards to lead Atlanta.
Falcons defensive lineman Brandon Dorlus and rookie James Pearce Jr. combined for a sack. Pearce now leads all rookies with 8.5 sacks this season.
