WVU cornerback Jordan Scruggs decided to end his weekend by announcing he’s entering the NFL Draft.

Scruggs posted a long message about his college career and future on social media on Sunday.

Scruggs will conclude his college career after one season as a Mountaineer. He transferred to WVU from South Alabama ahead of the 2025 season.

After recording 69 tackles in 2024, Scruggs registered 33 in 2025 in the Big 12. He also picked up a pair of pass deflections, a forced fumble and an interception, which he turned into a pick-6 during WVU’s road upset over then ranked Houston.

The 5-foot-11, 166-pound Scruggs began his college career with time in Division II and in junior college before transferring to South Alabama.
