With 23 touchdowns and counting this season, Jordan Love is looking for more Wisconsin youth sports teams in need of new cleats through his Hands of 10ve Foundation.

This is the second year of the Green Bay Packers quarterback’s 10ve for Cleats initiative, which donates new Nike cleats to a K-12 sports team in the state for every passing or rushing touchdown he scores this season. Love expanded the program this year to also include one team from his hometown of Baskersfield, California, for each touchdown.

The Green Bay Southwest High School varsity football team was the first recipient this year. Love stopped by practice in September to see how the players were liking their new cleats and talk more about the campaign in partnership with U.S. Venture Inc.

His Hands of 10ve Foundation, launched in May 2024, encourages Wisconsin teams with a need to apply by the Dec. 31 deadline to ensure that all the available cleats find their way across the state. Applications are through the form at handsof10ve.org. Recipients will be announced on Hands of 10ve’s Instagram in January.

Love scored 26 touchdowns last season and donated more than 1,300 cleats to 26 different teams. He plans to double that number this year with the addition of Bakersfield to the initiative.

Part of the inspiration for 10ve for Cleats is Love’s own memories of players on some of the teams of his youth who couldn’t afford to get new cleats each year or had to wear hand-me-downs from older brothers and sisters, he said in September.
